In Lya Veski’s carpet weaving workshop, up to 4 children/youth can make a small rug on small looms. Lya Veski has been involved in carpet weaving for more than 30 years. Come try carpet weaving on small looms and discover one of the oldest handicraft skills for yourself.

In the workshop, you can get acquainted with the basics of weaving, learn simpler techniques and weave your own small carpet sample. The instruction is given at a leisurely pace and everyone is welcome to participate, regardless of previous experience.

Carpet weaving offers an opportunity to take a moment slower, focus on creation and experience the joy of handicraft through traditional techniques.
