Gita Krīgere is a master weaver who studied the art of weaving at the folk and applied arts studio “Saiva”. She currently leads a weaving group at the Drabeš Manor Handicraft House. She weaves blankets, tablecloths, towels, large shawls and rag rugs. Her work has been exhibited both locally and nationally. She leads a workshop on making a mat from plants.
