Mihkel Soone’s instrument introduction and string making workshop. The workshop will introduce the small kannel and the hiiu kannel. Participants can bring their own kandle or hiiu kandle, on which the instrument maker can change the strings (10 euros). The workshop participant can make and install the string(s) themselves (5 euros). Mihkel Soon is an instrument maker from Võru County who has been making traditional stringed instruments with a single wooden soundbox for over 20 years.
