Village University: Grethe Rõõm How a place feeds creation - the story of me and Rõuge

Free

On the edge of Ööbikoru, right here in Rõuge, by the winding paths and quiet waterholes, children’s and youth writer Grethe Rõõm lives and creates. Several acclaimed works have been born from his pen, some of which carry the charm and stories of Rõuge. Come hear where Grethe finds her stories, how thoughts become books and what new adventures are still waiting for their time to be born on paper.

The village university is a series of meetings that moves around the Rõuge municipality and where people living in the Rõuge municipality or related to the region talk about topics that they have become familiar with during their studies, work and life. Still in order to enjoy nice summer evenings together, meet new friends and gather knowledge. If you live near the lecture venue, come on foot or by bike - let’s preserve nature. Lectures are free.
